Prokick kids excited about competition
When anyone mentions competition at the ProKick Gym to the junior members their eyes ‘light-up’ and the first thing they holler is ‘its ProKick Says Day’. And that is what it was - competition time at the legendary kickboxing school of excellence for kickboxing mad kids. This week the competition was thrown wide open to a group of new starts who have all donned the gloves, not in earnest but in fun.
Beginner's right up to junior black belts all took part in a Saturday morning ‘Wide Awake Club’ competition, geared for kids. Prokick coach Eddie Salmon said: “The children learning the art of kickboxing love the ‘Prokick Says’ fun days. They look forward to it because it gives them an opportunity to put into practice what they learn in class.
