The WKN’s long wait was over for for an event back in London - Brothers Riyadh and Mohammed Al Azzawi topped the bill at the Porchester hall in London. The packed hall witnessed scenes of old as a full international fight card of kickboxing was on display. Top of the bill was England’s Riyadh Al Azzawi ( IRAK.UK) faced Poland’s world champion Tomasz Borowiec in what was dubbed by many as the fight of the night.
It was tit-for-tat war from round one to round twelve - Riyadh Al Azzawi is the current WKN British and European champion and showed why he was challenging for the world title - Al Azzawi showed the heart and courage of a true champion as he straggled to breathe, it was the result of a badly broken nose sustained in the early rounds.
