Belfast Lord Mayor backs KICKmas

A host of kickboxing stars, including world champion Gary Hamilton, met Belfast Lord Mayor Tom Hartley today (November 19) at a special reception in the Waterfront Hall. "They put on a great show for us," joked Hamilton - the morning after the spectacular Christmas lights were switched on. Hamilton will attempt to add the world WKN Lightweight crown to the Featherweight belt he has held since 2002. He will face much fancied Englishman Marty Cox Jnr for the vacant title in Belfast's Waterfront Hall on December 1.
